Dry Mushroom curry is considered to be especial due to mushroom’s seasonal availability. It has been seen that even people who are choosy in eating sabji, like it extensively. Lets know cooking recipe about delicious dry mushroom curry.
Ingredients Required For Dry Mushroom Curry
For 5 persons:
- Mushrooms about 400-500 grams
- Onion medium size – 2
- Jeera(Cumin) – 1-2 tea spoon
- Garlic cloves- 8-10
- Termeric powder- 1 tea spoon
- Kashmiri Mirch Powder- 1 tea spoon
- Chilli powder- 1/2 tea spoon
- Coriander powder- 1 tea spoon
- Garam masala- 1 tea spoon
- salt to taste
Preparation Before Gas Stove Is Turned On
- Mushrooms are washed well and chopped lengthwise.
- Onions are fine chopped lengthwise.
- Paste of mixture of jeera and garlic cloves is prepared.




TIPS- Stem parts of the mushrooms can be left out for cooking evenly.
Instructions For Cooking Dry Mushroom Curry
STEP 1 – Heat 4 spoon of oil in medium flame.

STEP 2 – Add chopped onions to it. Let it fry in medium flame till it turn golden brown.


STEP 3 – Now after onions turned golden, chopped mushrooms are added to it. Let it fry till contained water inside came out and later almost all evaporated. Flame to be medium to high.


STEP 4 – Add 1 teaspoon termeric powder, 1 teaspoon Kashmiri mirch powder, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, 1/2 teaspoon chilli powder, 1 teaspoon garam masala and salt to taste keeping flame at medium.





STEP 5– After 2-3 min add paste prepared and mix it well with rest. Flame to be medium to high.

After 2-3 mins of cooking dry mushroom curry is ready to be served.
