According to some news reports Nikhil Kamath had married Amanda Puravankara in april 2019. Couple seperated within a year and their divorce process completed in 2021. He is reportedly dating actress Rhea Chakraborty. Earlier to that he was in relationship with former Miss World Manushi Chillar.

Nikhil used to be involved in equity trading alongside his call centre job in his early phase of career after 10th grade drop out.
